MOVE Aluminium Operable Shutters

MOVE™ aluminium operable shutters are a contemporary vertical-louvre solution for controlling privacy, sunlight and airflow in patios, verandas, balconies and outdoor entertaining areas.

Each system is custom cut to suit your finished opening dimensions and supplied flat packed for transport and on-site assembly. The adjustable blades can be repositioned throughout the day using the operating control arm.

Opening Size Range

  • Width: 450mm minimum to 9,600mm maximum
  • Height: 450mm minimum to 3,000mm maximum

Enter the smallest finished width and height of your prepared opening into the online configurator. Wider openings may be divided into multiple shutter sections.

Installation Clearances

  • Allow a minimum cavity depth of 57mm for installation.
  • The shutters have an approximate depth of 80mm when closed.
  • The shutters extend to approximately 180mm when fully open, including the control arm.
  • Check the top, bottom and sides of the opening for handles, posts, walls and other obstructions.
  • Ensure the control arm and louvre blades can operate through their complete range without interference.

Important Information

  • MOVE™ aluminium shutters must not be used as a balustrade, fall barrier or certified safety barrier.
  • The louvre blades can be opened to allow wind to pass through. If wind-load certification or structural compliance is required, seek advice from an independent engineer.
  • The closed aluminium blades can help reduce exposure to wind, rain and sunlight; however, the shutters are not designed to form a completely sealed or weatherproof barrier.
