Custom Alumaluxe Decorative Screens for Outdoor Privacy

Alumaluxe decorative screens combine privacy, filtered light and a bold architectural pattern in one made-to-measure panel. The cut-out designs help screen views while letting light and air through. The level of privacy depends on the design, panel size and viewing angle.

Each design is CNC routed into an aluminium composite panel, with aluminium faces bonded to a rigid polyethylene core. The bonded construction adds strength and rigidity while keeping the panel light, and the surface won’t rust or rot and needs no painting. Our online configurator calculates your price as you choose the design, colour, size and fixing method.

A custom decorative gate with your chosen routed composite panel and a fully assembled, smooth flush gate frame. Use it as a garden or side gate on its own, or to match your Alumaluxe screens.

• Includes the routed composite panel and fully assembled frame
• 600mm to 2100mm high and 600mm to 1260mm wide
• Sized outside to outside of the gate frame, not as the clear opening between posts. Allow separately for hinge and latch gaps
• Portrait or landscape pattern orientation, except Reeds, which is landscape only
• Frame colours: Black Satin, Monument Matt, Surfmist Matt, Pearl White Gloss and Woodland Grey Matt. Panel and frame colours are selected independently
• Posts, hinges, latches and delivery are separate

Which Decorative Screen Design Should I Choose?

Choose from 34 designs, from botanical patterns such as Fern, Palm and Bamboo to geometric designs such as Geo, Pave and Tetris. Designs can be adapted for portrait or landscape pattern orientation, except Reeds, which is landscape only.

The design is scaled proportionally to suit your selected panel size. Slight design adjustments may be needed. For coordinated patterns across multiple panels or gates, please contact us before ordering. Matching pattern sizes or seamless alignment between separate items should not be assumed.

Each design lets through a different amount of light and view. As a guide, based on a 1000mm × 1850mm panel:

• More privacy (about 11–19% visibility): Fern, Natural, Reeds, Scale, Retro, Leaves and Sleet
• Balanced (about 20–34% visibility): designs such as Autumn, Geo 1, Nirvana, Wave, Regal, Circles and Chaos
• More open (about 37–56% visibility): Hypnosis, Clockwork, Frond, Jungle, Blocks, Palm, Pave, Cobble, Stacks and Enchanted

Visibility varies with panel size, pattern scaling and viewing angle. These figures are a guide only. If council or building rules require a privacy screen, for example to limit overlooking, confirm the requirement with your council or certifier before ordering.

Alumaluxe Panel Colours and Materials

Alumaluxe panels are aluminium composite, with aluminium faces bonded to a polyethylene core. They are not solid aluminium sheet.

• 4mm composite: Natural White, Brushed Silver and Charcoal, with the same colour on both sides
• 3mm composite: White Gloss, White Satin, Matt Silver, Black Gloss, Black Satin, Red Gloss, Yellow Gloss and Green Gloss
• 3mm panels have a White Gloss reverse, except Black Gloss, which has a Satin Black reverse

Panel thickness depends on the selected finish. Gate-frame colours are selected separately from the panel colour.

Fixing Options for Fences, Walls and Posts

• Face mount with screws: the panel is supplied without installation screws.
• Face mount with mounting pins: satin-anodised standoff mounts hold the panel off the mounting surface. The required number of mounting pins for your panel size is included, together with fixing screws and wall plugs. The configurator summary shows the total number of pins supplied.
• Void fitting with folded edges: choose left and right, top and bottom, or all four edges folded. Folded edges reduce the maximum finished size. The configurator shows the permitted dimensions for your selection.

Measuring and Ordering Online

Enter the exact finished size you need. Height and width are entered independently within the limits shown in the configurator. Pattern orientation describes the direction of the design, rather than requiring the finished item to be taller than it is wide or wider than it is tall.

If you choose folded edges, the configurator shows the maximum finished panel size for your selection. For gates, measure outside to outside of the gate frame. The gate width is not the clear opening between posts, so allow separately for posts, hinge and latch gaps, and the clearances required by your chosen hardware.

Check the design, orientation, colours, dimensions and installation selections in the configurator summary before ordering. For identical items, adjust the quantity. Configure and add different sizes or specifications separately.
