Pronto 88mm Screw Flute Aluminium Louvre Blade
The Pronto 88mm Screw Flute Aluminium Louvre Blade is a purpose-designed structural blade for use within compatible fixed Pronto louvre panel assemblies.
It shares the same clean 88mm × 11mm external profile as the standard Pronto louvre blade but incorporates two internal Ø4.9mm screw flutes. These screw flutes allow compatible side frames to be mechanically fastened to the blade and help improve panel rigidity and integrity.
Designed for the Top and Bottom of the Panel
In standard Pronto panel configurations without a welded midrail, screw flute blades are generally positioned at the top and bottom of the panel. The side frames can then be secured into the internal screw flutes using compatible 12-gauge pan-head stainless-steel screws.
Additional standard Pronto 88mm louvre blades are installed between the top and bottom screw flute blades according to the required panel height.

Typical Panel Configuration
For panels without a midrail or fully framed top and bottom rails, one screw flute blade is typically used at the top and one at the bottom of the assembly. Standard Pronto 88mm blades are installed between them.
The Pronto Side Frame Drill Jig provides the correct drilling position in the side frame so the fixing holes align with the blade’s internal screw flutes.
Recommended Fixings
Use compatible 12g × 25mm pan-head SS304 screws to secure the side frames to the screw flute blades. The catalogue recommends lubricating the screws before installation.
Important: Pronto press-in louvre blade end caps are designed for the standard 88mm blade and do not fit this screw flute blade.
